Life Sketches

Life Sketches or Profile Videos are a sub-genre of documentary films. These films intend to tell the story of a person’s life and work and are biographical in nature. Owing to the nature of these films, a filmmaker needs to demonstrate very high levels of sensibility and compassion for the people, even while being critical of them or their actions.

With a team that prides itself on being highly empathetic, we, at Decode Mediacom, have had extensive experience in handling these subjects and mastering the treatment that the genre demands of us. Some of our best work in the genre celebrates the work of veterans who have dedicated their lives to a certain cause and have made a commendable impact on the lives of others.

Forestman of India

Jadav Payeng, a resident of Majuli island in the Brahmaputra river, has singlehandedly planted a forest spanning over 1300 acres of land. Always inclined towards development communication, we got excited at the prospect of making a film on the subject.

Waterman of India

On #WorldWaterDay, Decode Mediacom presents to you #WatermanofIndia, a wonderful cinematic experience on the life and work of Dr. Rajendra Singh, the prestigious recipient of the Magsaysay Award in 2001 and the Stockholm Water Prize in 2015.
